ExportaMoz Solutions is a Mozambican innovation platform dedicated to promoting the country’s export potential. We operate through three strategic pillars: knowledge dissemination (with the Exporter’s Guide), commercial promotion (through the Exporter Pavilion and international events), and institutional capacity building (via the ExportaMoz Incubator). We work with various stakeholders, including Government entities, banks, insurers, international agencies, and private companies to boost international trade for Mozambican SMEs.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position based in Maputo. The Sales & Sponsorships Executive will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and closing commercial partnerships, securing sponsors for ExportaMoz events and programs, and marketing the services and products offered by the platform. Daily responsibilities include client prospecting, value proposition presentations, participation in organizing conferences and workshops, and maintaining strong relationships with strategic partners.
The professional will work closely with technical and institutional teams to ensure the effective delivery of high-impact services and solutions to the market.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in sales strategy, sponsorship acquisition, and business development
- Proven ability to negotiate and manage institutional and commercial partnerships
- Experience in event organization, capacity-building programs, and commercial campaigns
- Proficiency in CRM tools and market analysis
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proactive and goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets
- Experience in service sales, institutional marketing, or event promotion is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, International Relations, or related fields
- Fluency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus
